Deep green velvety leaves. new leaves emerge green with intricate red patterns. As the leave age they darken to a deep velvet like green, that almost appear black. Can get up to 5 feet tall!

Light: Bright indirect light

Water: Somewhat draught tolerant. Water when the top half of soil is dry. Well draining soil will go a long way towards keeping your Alocasia happy.

Temps: Best kept between 70 and 85 degrees

Chewing or biting into this plant will release these crystals causing tissue penetration and irritation the mouth and GI tract.
