This plant boast huge bold ruffly edged leaves with Red veins and dark purple flowers.
Care:
Light: Bright indirect light. More light will bring out more flowers, but direct light can burn them.
Water: Allow the top in of soil to dry before watering.
Humidity: Loves a humid environment. Mist above the leaves, keep near a humidifier, or on a pebble tray.
Temps: Best kept between 65 and 80 degrees. Does not like drafts, keep away from doors and vents.
Pets: contains insoluble calcium oxalate crystals similar to other plants in the Araceae family. Chewing or biting into this plant will release these crystals causing tissue penetration and irritation the mouth and GI tract.
