This plant gets it's nick name from it's active leaves that fold together like praying hands at night. dark green leaves with dark red veins and yellow markings are sure to catch your eye. It is a must have for plant collectors.

Care:

Light: Medium to bright indirect light.

Water: Maranta can be a bit picky. They need a lot of humidity and do not like to dry out. Keep soil damp but not soggy.

Humidity: Maranta like high humidity. You can provide this with a humidifier, misting water above the leaves, or placing the plant on a wet pebble tray.

Temp: Keep temps between 60 and 85 degrees.
