These are one of my all time favorite philodendrons! New leaves emerge vibrant red then change to a dark chocolate color then once again to emerald green. You will never get tired of watching this plant grow. leaves may appear differently from pictured depending on the maturity of each leaf.

Care:

Light: Bright indirect sunlight

Water: keep soil damp but not soggy. Good drainage and soil are key!

Temps: Best kept between 65 and 85 degrees.

Pets:

Contains insoluble calcium oxalate crystals similar to other plants in the Araceae family. Chewing or biting into this plant will release these crystals causing tissue penetration and irritation the mouth and GI tract.
